Words can’t express how lucky we are to have found Larry & Renee. My Cavalier mopes around ever since we got our Goldendoodle and the second he got to Larry’s backyard during the meet and great he was a different boy! He was so happy and comfortable immediately. He took to Larry right away. I booked another stay for the boys a couple days after picking them up. If I don’t have anywhere to go, I may still book a stay for the dogs…. Chewie had a blast! Larry appears to me to be a very responsible host. He listened well to instructions that I gave him. He was very attentive to my dog’s interaction with another doggie that he was caring for. This was the first time I’ve left my doggy with any person. I was nervous but I didn’t feel any apprehension whatsoever leaving my doggie with Larry. He has a nice fenced yard for the doggies to play in. Indoors-there’s space for the dogs to be comfortable. He answered text messages quickly and sent a few pictures with updates. I recommend him and plan to use him again.

We could not possibly be more thrilled with these wonderful dog sitters! Larry and Renee are awesome! We are new to Palm Harbor and didn’t know where to turn when we needed someone to stay for a day and a half and overnight with our four dogs. After reading the reviews on Rover.com, we contacted them and Larry responded almost immediately. He physically came to visit our home and meet our dogs soon after that. While here, he walked with us as we walked our dogs, and was on the floor petting them and getting to know each of them. We were all comfortable that it was a “good fit”. The night before we had to leave, both Larry and Renee came to watch us feed them all, and to get last minute instructions. They were especially attentive to the needs of our 15 year old dog who had been experiencing some health issues. While we were gone, we received texts and photos which were greatly appreciated! When we returned home, it was as if no one had even been in our home — everything was just as we left it. Without a doubt and if they will have us, Larry and Renee will be our dog sitters for many years to come!

We never got to meet. However their attentiveness and care to our situation leads me to be certain they would have taken amazing care of our babies. We had a blowout on our motorhome on the way to Tampa. It resulted on over 12 hours stranded waiting for the right rig to come and change the tire. Then a whole weekend to change all 6 tires as they were not in stock. Long story short we missed our window to meet them but look forward to use their services on our return thru Tampa. Thru it all we received messages of encouragement from them. It meant a lot!

They are smart to require a “meet and greet” prior to the day care/boarding. Our meet and greet went fine and the day care 3 days later went outstanding. To say that Larry and Renee are amazing is an understatement! It was abundantly clear how much they love and treasure all animals from the moment that we met with them. Our energetic pup stayed with them while we were out of town for a few days and they took him on adventures every day. Larry was amazing with my crew of animals. Had a business trip and was nervous about having someone watch my fur babies. Larry came by spent a few hours with them and made me feel at ease. He stayed at my house for the duration of my trip and provided constant updates on how they were doing. Also took some amazing pictures. My two dogs were extremely happy. Larry treated them as his own even snuggled at night with my cuddle bug Stumpy. Kimbo enjoyed his much loved couch time with Larry. They had some fun adventures on their daily walks.

We can’t say enough about how satisfied we were to have our big goofy dog with Larry and Renee. After our meet-and-greet visit we were sure they were conscientious and caring, and our first impressions were not wrong. Larry sent info and photos every day. Communication and planning drop-off and pick-up were easy. Hank got regular walks as well as some interaction with other dogs. He’s been sleeping since we got home and that’s always a sign that he’s had a good time. Larry and Renee will be at the top of our request list when we travel. Their yard and surroundings are perfect and they are fantastic.

Larry stayed at our place and watched our four babies. Two dogs, two cats. He met with the dogs twice before staying. I have never left them before and was a little nervous of how they would do with a new person in their space. Everything went perfectly. Larry is a wonderful, kind, person. He knew how to make my dogs feel relaxed and happy. The house was just as I had left it. He sent lots of photos and updates. He took them for several walks as well. Larry and Renee are wonderful people and true animal lovers. They are kind, gentle and thoughtful and will treat your beloved pet as well as you do (if not better!). They have a beautiful shady yard with many interesting diversions and their house is cozy and comfortable. My golden Mix has stayed with them twice and he honestly seemed a tad depressed to come home! They also did home visits for my kitties and tended to my Monarch butterfly habitat while i was away. They are reliable and caring and i was able to completely enjoy my vacation knowing my animals were in such good hands. I am very picky and knew the moment i met them and saw their house that they were the right people to watch my adored pets! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!

Larry & Renee kept my little girl, Emma, for the first time and they were great! When I picked her up after four days, she seemed happy to see me but wasn’t anxious at all to leave their home. In fact, she followed Renee into the kitchen, I am sure in hopes of another treat, while she was gathering Emma’s things for me. Larry was wonderful at keeping me informed of how Emma was doing by sending me emails and photos of my girl. I couldn’t have been happier. In fact, we are using them again next week to take care of our Emma for another three days.

Using Rover for the first time, we were skeptical of what type of care our pups would receive. Based on their profile, Larry and Renee seemed like a good choice, but once we took our dogs for an in-person meet and greet we felt very confident in our decision! Larry and Renee are super friendly, have a calm disposition, and treated our dogs like their own. Every day, our pups came back to us happy and exhausted from a fun-filled day with Larry and Renee. They sent us pictures with updates on how the day went, and they were very flexible with pick-up/drop-off times. While on vacation, we wanted to make sure our furbabies were kept safe while we did “humans-only” activities but Larry and Renee went above and beyond by stimulating them with different experiences and emptying their energy tanks! We honestly can’t wait to vacation in the area again so we can look up Larry and Renee to look after our pups!

We had Larry and Renee stay overnight with our Rocco who is a very tough dog due to his degree of fear of people not in his ‘family’. Larry came over 4 separate times to work with Rocco and make sure Rocco was familiar with him prior to our trip. He and Renee were extremely patient and loving to our dog who can be intimidating and while we were away Rocco not only let them pet him (amazing!!), but he slept with them! Larry and Renee are awesome! We were visiting the area from out of town and wanted to get away for the day without leaving our pup alone. We were nervous about leaving our little guy in a strange city, but Larry and Renee were so kind and clearly love what they do. They were great with Beanie from the get go, allowing him to explore and watching for his cues. They made us feel comfortable right away. Beanie had a great time playing in their beautiful yard, going for walks, and socializing. It was a great day for him and our family had a great time knowing that he was being cared for. Larry and Renee watched our dog Jeter for a week while we were away on vacation. I believe he may have been taken care of better than he does when he’s at home:) Everywhere Larry went Jeter went with him. They went on daily excursions to parks for walks and exploring, went out to breakfast – all sorts of fun. The best part is we received daily detailed info about what his day entailed including pictures from throughout the day. We have found Jeter’s new home away from home when we are away. We have boarded Jeter before and it’s been pretty rough on our little guy as he has had some pretty severe anxiety associated with the experience. Now that will no longer be necessary as he (and us) couldn’t have felt more comfortable.

I feel like I hit the jackpot!! I could not have found a better place to leave my dog for a few days, than with Larry and Renee! I have an unusual clan of animals that Larry embraced and took on the challenge of caring for. His love for Animals helped him adapt easily to the challenges that each of them demand in terms of love and care. He bonded easily and surpassed my expectations of care for each one of them.
